William Gibson's drama, "The Miracle Worker" is based on the childhood story Helen Keller, a blind and deaf writer, American public figure, who is able to communicate with the outside world thanks to her teacher, Annie Sullivan. The universal problems voiced in the play are primary questions for society today, the answers to which can be found in the psychological drama "The Miracle Worker", the joint effort of Gyumri Drama Theater and Hamazgayin. "Obedience without awareness is the same blindness", this is the foundation on which the new world and life must be built.

Theatrical reading
Translation by Karine Tsaturyan
Place and time of action: Vienna, early 19th century. The play is written with dialogues, but the means of expression are exclusively pantomime. It was first staged on the Russian stage in 1910 by Vsevolod Meyerhold, under the title of "Columbine Scarf". It paved the way for a number of serious experiments that transformed the performing arts of the 20th century. In 1914 Meyerhold's experiment was repeated with a new breath by Alexander Tairov: he opened his Chamber Theater with a pantomime entitled "The Veil of Pierrette" based on the same play by Arthur Schnitzler.

The stories of the three main characters of the "Genesis of Victory" take place in the 1990s, in three different locations - in one of the hottest spots in Artsakh, in a border village and in dark and cold Yerevan, making three interconnected story lines. Children who are physically distant from each other seem to be in a dialogue, respond to one another, share their concerns and joys. Each of their stories is a record of a small victory - a victory over the enemy, the harsh conditions and their own fears. These pure and naive heroes seem to be part of the nation's genetic code, recording the birth of the winner's psychology.
