Драма по произведениям Уильяма Сарояна
«…я сыграю вам песню, которая заставит ваше сердце трепетать от горя и радости»
Находясь в Америке, в среде армянских эмигрантов, будущий писатель Сароян собирал простые и непридуманные истории о жизнелюбивых и не умеющих приспосабливаться людях, оторванных от родины. Истории эти, ставшие впоследствии романами и новеллами и прославившие родившегося и выросшего в Америке армянского писателя, стали основой спектакля «В горах мое сердце».
Яркие персонажи и пронзительные сюжеты Сарояна, горькая ирония и неиссякаемое жизнелюбие, неповторимый мягкий юмор и вера в то, что все преодолимо, — соединились в постановке Театра Стаса Намина. Ну и, конечно, создатели постарались донести до зрителя бережно хранимые традиции и бессмертный дух древнейшей нации — этот дух вечен, он передается из поколения в поколение с великой добротой и состраданием.
В спектакле звучат фрагменты из симфонии Стаса Намина Centuria S-Quark, стихи Осипа Мандельштама и Нами Микоян, демонстрируются видеорепродукции картин «Арарат и арка Чаренца» (Мартирос Сарьян, 1958) и «История» (Стас Намин, 2015).

В 1999 году с постановки русской версии легендарного хиппи-рок-мюзикла «Волосы» начал свою историю театр музыки и драмы Стаса Намина. Скандальный спектакль, изменивший судьбу целого поколения 1960-х, оказался необыкновенно актуальным и в 2000-е. Это первая и пока единственная постановка культового мюзикла в России. В процессе совместной режиссерской работы Бо Кроуэлла и Стаса Намина была создана уникальная русская версия спектакля, адаптированная к современным российским реалиям. «Волосы» — это драматический мюзикл о молодости, свободе и войне, далеко выходящий за рамки развлекательного жанра, потрясающий своей искренностью и энергетикой.
Постановка «Волос» стала для молодого театра знаковой, задав ему «вектор развития»: стремление к свободе творческого самовыражения и теплые, доверительные отношения в коллективе. Из «племени любви» выросла сегодняшняя труппа театра.
На протяжении уже более пятнадцати лет спектакль каждый раз проходит при аншлаге.

Winner of the Artist’s International Auditions (New York), the Concorso Sor (Rome) and the Prémio Jovens Músicos, as well as a laureate of over twenty competitions including Salieri-Zinetti, Paris, Montélimar, Valencia, and Sernancelhe, Pedro Rodrigues is an Associate Professor at the University of Aveiro, an Integrated Researcher at INET-md, Director of the Master’s in Music program, Artistic Director of the UA Autumn Festivals, and a member of the UA General Council. He has performed as a soloist in many internationally renowned, and has premiered over 60 works by contemporary composers. His discography includes 19 titles.
